'An educational and thought-provoking saga'

On July 2, more than 1,000 movie theaters will be showing a feature documentary film by Dinesh D’Souza and local producer Gerald Molen — “America: Imagine the World Without Her.” It gives us an educational and thought-provoking saga, while riveted in our chairs, to stop and think.

Both these men teamed up for the acclaimed film, “2016,” but this time they outdid themselves, accomplishing what no one else to date has been able to do: To show, in less than two hours, the revisionist history being taught by the progressive left socialist/communists that have taken over and infiltrated much of our institutions, media and government.

I sat with over 100 folks for the special showing last week that brought folks to their feet with thunderous applause, whistling and even tears. When the credits start to roll, don’t leave; you will hear an inspiring rock version of our national anthem. When talking with many folks after the showing, it was pretty unanimous that they were relieved that brave souls dared to bring the non-politically correct TRUTH of who we are as a nation.

Our children, in the public education system, have been indoctrinated to believing we are an evil people and that there is nothing exceptional about America to be proud of. If the powers that be can change the narrative (the story), the more they can control you and me.

Hollywood doesn’t want you to see this, nor our current administration; the truth hurts when you’re guilty of telling so many lies to a once proud nation for far too long.

Our mistakes are shown, but it also shows the idea that anyone who calls himself or herself American has the greatest opportunity to achieve their dreams, never before realized  in any other nation on earth.

OPINION: Don't blame the messengers ...

Regarding Bill Cox’s letter in the Inter Lake about Islamic/Syrian refugees moving into Montana and the citizenry who oppose it, Cox says the letters opposing this “migration” were orchestrated by a campaign of propaganda to demonize Muslims. Are you saying Mr. Cox that the hundreds of citizens who showed up at the Flathead County commissioners’ office are all Islamophobic? Is that the same as saying all those who disagree with President Obama are all racists?

OPINION: Tired of being called a hater and racist

The “stand against violence, fear and hate” type groups that rallied recently in Depot Park, and all across Montana and America, are a coalition of a large number of paid lobbying groups such as the ACLU, Montana Human Rights Network, Love Lives Here, NARAL (pro-choice), Planned Parenthood, SEIU, CAIR (Council of American Islamic Relations), Move-On.org (George Soros group) and even joining in are Presbyterian and Unitarian Universalist churches (to name just a “few” of the non-profits behind this).

Flathead County's good Samaritans

I was stuck alongside the road on Hutton Ranch Road on a recent afternoon when my car slid off into a two-foot shoulder of snow. What made matters more insane was the fact that I got out (while the car was idling) to check the “conditions” and closed the car door behind me — now I was LOCKED out of my running car stuck in two feet of snow.
