BOISE – U.S. and Idaho gas prices are on the rise, but are nowhere near where they were a year ago, says Idaho’s AAA. Based on AAA’s Daily Fuel Gauge Report (www.fuelgaugereport.AAA.com), Idaho’s average price for regular grade gasoline is up 18 cents in the past month to $3.31 a gallon, but 15 cents below the average a year ago.

Idaho’s average prices are well below the national average price of $3.46. Idaho is ranked 35th on a national list.

Among seven Idaho locations AAA officials looked at, Coeur d’Alene has the lowest price today ($3.10) compared to $3.39 for Boise and Nampa.
