Middle school celebrates K.B. Night

Whitefish Middle School student council will host K.B Family Activity Night on March 13 from 5-7 p.m. The annual event celebrates the life of Kerrie Byrne.

Byrne was a Whitefish teacher and a community activist who inspired countless friends, family, students with her passion, grace, tenacity and wisdom.

Activities include dodge ball, line dancing, face painting, Twister, a cake walk, Wii dance, a rock wall and pie in the face. Food concessions are available. Tickets are $5 per person or $10 for a family.

Flathead Sled Dog Days is gearing up for its fifth annual dog sled race Jan. 6-8. Race organizers have partnered with the Whitefish Winter Carnival to become part of their festivities next month.
