Boys' basketball team earns second place in districts

The Cinderella story was not to be as time ticked away for the Badger varsity boys’ basketball team playing Filer in McCall at a state playoff game March 1.

The Badgers lost 42-32 as the fourth quarter dissolved into a game of keepaway.

Nervous pep band members who had been loudly supporting the team all year felt helpless as they gathered around a radio to listen to the final minutes at BCMS Saturday.
