ROYAL CITY - Members of the Royal High School chapter of Future Farmers of America (FFA) celebrated National FFA Week recently with an open house at the agriculture/shop building.

"The Royal High School FFA chapter makes a positive difference in the lives of our members by igniting our potential for premier leadership, personal growth and career success through agricultural education," Ag education instructor Rick Kanelly said.

Today's FFA members are planning and training to be tomorrow's leaders of America's number one industry, agriculture. Visit FFA.org today for more information and how you can support your local FFA chapter and ignite a passion for agriculture in today's youths

According to Kanelly, The Royal High School FFA chapter is "On a Mission to Preserve the Tradition" that has been Agriculture on the Royal Slope and the FFA for so many years.

For more information on FFA and how you can support it, you may call Kanelly at (360) 391-5715.
