Pipe bomb injures two in Bonners Ferry

BONNERS FERRY — Two people were injured when a pipe bomb exploded at the front door of a home early Sunday morning.

Allen J. Stafford, also known as Allen Avery, is accused of planting the device. He is charged with unlawful use of an explosive device, a felony.

Stafford also charged with misdemeanor vandalism.

Stafford, 19, is being held at the Boundary County Jail in lieu of $300,000 bail, according to the Idaho Supreme Court Data Repository.
