Clinic attack: 'We cannot ... ever tolerate this kind of behavior'

The recent burglary and extensive vandalism committed against Susan Cahill and her practice, All Families Healthcare, is as hateful a crime as I have yet to see committed here in our community.
As a patient of Susan’s, (who by the way has never had an abortion, as I am sure is true for the vast majority of her patients), I can attest that she is one of the most compassionate, kind, generous, and non-judgmental people you could ever hope to meet. I am absolutely horrified at the destruction that has been wreaked at her new office and I feel personally attacked since it has created the possibility that Susan may not be able to continue to see patients... like me!
The very people who picket, judge, and attack Ms. Cahill should go back and study their Bibles, e.g. verses like, “Let he who is without sin cast the first stone,” and “look not at the speck in your friend’s eye but attend to the log in your own.” Oh... and please don’t forget the Golden Rule, a version of which scholars have found in the origins of every single world religion: Do unto others as you would have them do unto you (which includes the converse, “Don’t do unto others what you would not have them do unto you.”)
Truly, right now I am embarrassed to live in an area where such an atrocity can occur. Wake up, people! This isn’t even a question of “choice” anymore... it is a matter of pure hatred, judgment and violent criminal activity. We cannot and should not ever tolerate this kind of behavior, and I hope that the judicial system will use the full force of the law to deal with the individual(s) responsible.
