What exactly is in the water compact?

Thank you, Mark Agather, for your words regarding the Indian/federal water grab known as the CSKT water compact.
Your point No. 1 has been my major complaint: Why is it so “long and complex” and what exactly is in it? Do we have to pass it to find out what’s in it? (To quote Pelosi). We now know that procedure is a surprise bag of nightmares — witness Obamacare.
It is astonishing how we, the people, are left out of the loop. The complexity, the length, the legal implications have bypassed the public. Instead, federal money does the talking. I am appalled at the bargain basement price for Kerr Dam. Was PPL forced by the feds to “give it away”? I am no accountant but the Indian water grab smells of corruption and collusion.
Control the people’s health care and you control the people. Control the water, and you control EVERYTHING.

Eagle headline misleading
The Opinion article in the Apr. 8th Eagle was a Democrat smear. The Eagle’s headlines “State Republicans are selling off Public Lands” was intentionally vague, misleading and outrageous. I blame the Eagle for that. The content by Matt McGovern was more of the same – intentionally misleading readers. SB2l5 pertains to FEDERAL public lands becoming Montana public lands - just like a majority of the states have done..
