BUTTE (AP) — Law enforcement officers in Butte say a 72-year-old man cut the throat of another man during an argument over money at a retirement and assisted living facility.

Butte-Silver Bow County Coroner Lee LaBreche says the 72-year-old victim died sometime early Wednesday. Officials are trying to locate his family and have not released his name.

Sheriff Ed Lester says John Grubbs Sr. was arrested on suspicion of deliberate homicide. He was jailed with his bond set at $250,000.

LaBreche says an autopsy is planned Thursday.
