All three incumbent trustees on the Whitefish School District Board have filed for re-election.

Dave Fern, Shawn Watts and Heather Vrentas all filed to serve another three-year term. Their terms expire in May and are the only seats up for election this year.

As of Monday afternoon, they were the only candidates to file for the election.

Watts and Vrentas were first elected to the board in 2011. Fern is seeking his eighth term on the board.

Nominating petitions are available in the school district office downstairs in the middle school and must be returned by noon on March 27. The election is May 6.

For more information, contact the district office at 862-8640.
