MOSES LAKE - Basin residents looking to build, remodel or simply redecorate their home can use the Central Washington Home and Lifestyle Expo this weekend as a good starting place for ideas.
More than 50 vendors, including contractors, insurance agents and other home improvement experts, will be at the expo, organizer Tera Redwine said.
The annual expo is the only one of its kind in the area, she said.
"This is a great place for people to find things for their home," Redwine explained. "There will be interior designers, flooring experts and companies that sell home security systems and solar power options."
She said each of the vendors are considered experts in their fields.
"Every aspect of the home can be explored, from the smallest design detail to the largest house addition," Redwine said. "Professionals will be on hand to share their valuable knowledge to bring your ideas to life or inspire you with new ones."
The two-day expo takes place Saturday and Sunday at the Grant County Fairgrounds. Doors open both days at 10 a.m. and close at 5 p.m. on Saturday and 4 p.m. on Sunday.
Admission to the event is free.
Redwine said vendors will also be offering various special discounts during the home show.
And since it's called the home and lifestyle expo, Redwine said there will be more than just home improvement experts there.
Attendees will also find kitchen product vendors and information on making healthy lifestyle changes at the expo, she said.
"There is something for everyone at the expo, it's very across the board," she said.
Canopy County RV will also have a line of campers and travel trailers at the event.
There will be giveaways each day, she said. For those craving fair food already, some of the booths will be open too, Redwine said.
"Overall, the expo will make a fun family outing this weekend," she said. "It's the place you want to be if you're looking to remodel or build or even make some lifestyle changes."
