Kalispell police have identified the victims in Tuesday’s apparent murder-suicide as Stacy and Dan Fleck, both 51.
The Flecks lived at 134 Fly Way, where their bodies were located following a 911 call from their adult son early Tuesday morning.
According to police, the son reported Dan had shot and killed Stacy and was preparing to commit suicide. By the time officers arrived, both were dead of gunshot wounds.
Kalispell Police Department Investigations Capt. Scott Warnell said Wednesday that no further information would be released since the agency was “deep in the investigation.”
“There is stuff we’re trying to follow up on that we don’t want out there,” Warnell said.
The Flecks’ bodies have been transported to the Montana State Crime Lab for autopsies.
Kalispell police are analyzing several pieces of evidence and completing interviews.
