Valley Press, Mineral Independent deadlines change

SANDERS COUNTY - The Clark Fork Valley Press has undergone some recent changes to their deadline.

In an effort to get the papers on the stand earlier in the week, both the Valley Press and the Mineral Independent have changed their deadlines to an earlier time.

Display and classified ads are due no later than Monday at 9 a.m.

Legals now deadline at 5 p.m. on Fridays. 

As for editorial and opinion content, including press releases and community calendar entires, the deadline for submissions is Monday at 10 a.m.

Both obituaries and birth announcements are also due Monday at 10 a.m.

The changes are effective immediately and anyone with questions is urged to contact the Valley Press, Mineral Independent office at 826-3402 or are also welcome to stop by with inquires.

PLAINS – The Koo-Koo-Sint fires have merged after 25 to 30 mile per hour winds, 95-degree weather and 15 percent relative humidity came together to create perfect conditions for the fire to grow.
