Twins camp

The Glacier Twins will host a Pitch, Hit and Run competition for area youths in conjunction with the team’s annual baseball camp at Memorial Field in Whitefish on Saturday, April 12. This is the first of four levels of competition that concludes with the national finals at the 2014 MLB All-Star game in Minneapolis. Babe Ruth auction

Glacier Babe Ruth will hold their fundraising auction at the Blue Moon Nite Club, U.S. 2 and Highway 40, on Friday, April 11, at 7 p.m. People are advised to get there early to sign up for an auction number. Spring soccer

The Flathead Rapids soccer club will hold its 8-week long Spring Academy program on April 15 through June 7 on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Register online at www.flatheadrapids.com. Deadline is March 22.

Whitefish Mountain Resort’s post-season uphill policy expired last week, but with significant snowfall and changing weather conditions, the resort reminds skier and hikers that avalanche hazards in the ski area’s permitted boundaries do exist.
