Basin Select Gold state champs

The Cobra Basin Select Gold 13U soccer team, consisting of girls from Othello, Warden, Moses Lake, and Ephrata, recently traveled to Lacey, WA, to compete in the Washington State Cup. The team went 3-0 in the tournament to earn rights as state champs. The team won its first game on Saturday against Tyne Castle of Seattle, 2-0. On Sunday, Basin Select Gold defeated Kitsap Pumas 3-1, and in the championship game defeated Cascade of Issaquah 1-0 in overtime.
