I am writing this letter in support of Laurie Thomas for Kootenai County Treasurer. I am in my 12th year as Lewis County Treasurer. During that time, Laurie has been very active in our Treasurer’s Association. She has helped in training treasurers in our association through our education program.

I appreciate Laurie’s willingness to help my office as I come from a small county. She has expertise in the state tax program, public administration, pending issues and the other various jobs in the Treasurer’s office. We don’t get the experience in the smaller counties to always know off the top of our heads what the steps are. It is nice having a contact who can help us with these things.

Kootenai County will have the continuity of excellent leadership and service if Laurie Thomas is elected as Kootenai County Treasurer.
