Mariners dump Missoula

EUREKA — Aaron Rasmussen tossed a two-hitter, struck out seven and walked two batters as Mission Valley A defeated the Missoula Pioneers 13-0 on Saturday at the Earl Russell Tournament.
Zeke Webster-Yaqui went 2 for 2, scored twice and drove in two runs to key the Mariners’ offense. Both hits were doubles.
TJ Olsen and Jacob Harrod both went 2 for 3. Olsen also doubled.
Olsen and Trevor Paro also scored twice.
Earlier in the day in tournament play, Mission Valley A defeated Mission Valley B 10-3.
Webster-Yaqui, 3 for 4, doubled twice, drove in three runs and scored three times for the A team. Alex Killian, 3 for 4, drove in two runs.
Nyqolas Gillingham doubled for the B team while Trevor Paro and Cole Snyder added doubles for the A team.
