WENATCHEE - With two enormous wins over the weekend, Big Bend baseball returned to the thick of the NWAACC East playoff picture.

The Vikings (11-13, 20-15) sit just two games behind Columbia Basin for the fourth and final playoff spot after stringing together three wins in a row.

Recently, Big Bend was able to take two road games from Wenatchee Valley, 9-4 and 10-9.

In game one, a Jon Dailey RBI single in the second inning of the first game sparked a rally that ended with a 6-0 Viking lead after two.

Dylan Signorelli led the team with three RBIs, while Mitchell Darlington added a pair.

Signorelli finished 2 for 5 with a double.

With its season on the brink, Big Bend trailed 9-5 entering the eighth inning in the nightcap against Wenatchee Valley.

K.J. Herbert lined an RBI single that ignited a five-run inning to pull the Vikings ahead.

Signorelli continued to flourish, going 2 for 5 with four RBIs and a home run.

Big Bend travels for a crucial two-game set against Columbia Basin May 7. The Vikings conclude their regular season May 10 at home.
