City approves BID special events

SANDPOINT — The Business Improvement District now has more options than ever when it comes to attracting people downtown.

A City Council decision Wednesday allows the BID, a self-governed district established to promote downtown business, to hold two special events annually at Farmin Park without paying any use fees. The organization will still have to pay for all deposit and insurance requirements and abide by park policies.
