A Kalispell Police Department officer responded to a Third Avenue East storage unit complex after people bought a unit in an auction and the previous owner showed up wanting to reclaim some of his belongings. He was calm and cooperative, however, and left the property when told.

A woman reported a South Meadows Drive resident had placed “sharp, pointy rocks” close to the road to keep people from driving over the yard and that her husband had now popped his tire on them while driving.

A pair of people were sent on their way after being reported by six people for trying to get into rooms and knocking on doors at an East Idaho Street motel.

An unknown intruder entered an East Texas Avenue barn, leaving the door open and lights on after leaving.


A 13th Street West resident contacted the Columbia Falls Police Department to report vandalism to a truck and trailer.
