SANDPOINT — Lake Pend Oreille School District officials chose to raise talent from within the fold with the recent promotions of Becky Meyer and Tom Albertson.

Meyer, Sandpoint High School principal, is taking a job in the district as assistant superintendent for teaching and learning. She replaces Doug Olin, who is retiring from his position as assistant administrator. Meyer remains principal until July 1, at which point assistant principal Albertson will replace her.
