QUINCY - Authorities are looking for a Quincy man accused of kidnapping and assaulting his ex-girlfriend in a May 3 incident.

An arrest warrant was issued for Roberto "Rascal" Rodriguez, 30, who is facing charges in Grant County Superior Court of first-degree kidnapping, attempted first-degree kidnapping, first-degree burglary, second-degree assault, unlawful imprisonment, attempted residential burglary and harassment.

On the morning of May 3, a 25-year-old woman, reportedly Rodriguez' ex-girlfriend, was asleep at her home when she was allegedly woken to Rodriguez punching her repeatedly in the face, then taken to a vehicle allegedly driven by Danny L. Killen, 56, of Quincy, and driven to a Quincy hotel, according to police reports.

Rodriguez allegedly forced the woman into a hotel room, dragging her by her hair. The woman was reportedly able to escape when the hotel owner arrived at the door. The woman suffered a fractured orbital socket, broken nose and finger, and her arms were reportedly covered with bruises and cuts, according to police reports.

Killen was arrested May 8 and charged with accomplice to first-degree kidnapping and possession of a controlled substance. Police reportedly found a small amount of methamphetamine on Killen when he was searched after his arrest.

During the investigation, Killen allegedly told police he believed the assault was OK because he though Rodriguez and the victim were in a relationship. He also told investigators he did not call the police because he "just wanted to go fishing," according to police reports.
