TWIN FALLS — Showing that the future is bright for Sandpoint golf, freshman Max Toenjes shot a 76 and freshman Dylan Dufenhorst a 79, leading the Bulldog golf team to its best team score of the season on day two of the 4A state golf championships at Twin Falls Municipal Golf Course.

Senior David Currie shot a 78, and his two-day score of 155 was one stroke better than Toenjes’s, and the team score of 321 was the lowest of the season for Sandpoint, which finished in seventh place among the eight full teams at state.
