CHEATHAM: Has experience, integrity

Who knows a candidate better than their spouse? First, let me write about Don Cheatham’s character which I believe is of the utmost importance. He’s a truly nice, honest, conservative, spiritual and extremely intelligent man. Believe it or not, he entered this race to fairly represent the people of District 3B with a willingness to protect their choices, liberties, freedoms and preserve conservative values. Don doesn’t believe the country is headed in the right direction. I realize people are dissatisfied with government, but things can change for the better with one trustworthy candidate at a time.

Don has successfully and repeatedly advanced in all of his careers in rank or position, and with that came additional responsibilities. When I first met him, we both had careers in law enforcement in Los Angeles, and he was a supervisor in detectives with the Los Angeles Police Department. He has worked a myriad of positions from SWAT, gangs, to political corruption cases, etc. No matter the endeavor, he excelled, whether it was as a Regional Manager/Vice President at Bank of America, U.S. Air Force, pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice, or his limited teaching credential.

He recently retired from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, where he was one of eight Regional Directors for the National Protection and Programs Directorate. Not to worry people, Don was responsible for keeping our country and the various sectors comprised of our national economy safe. He and his team were responsible for numerous states, not just a county. Don engaged with local businesses and local, state and federal government to achieve their goals while successfully working well with others.

Don Cheatham’s multi-faceted careers and proven integrity make him the best choice for State Representative for District 3B.
