The senior outfielder from Post Falls High is hitting .318 with 16 RBIs and a team-high 61 hits for the Braves (27-30), who begin play today at 1 p.m. PDT vs. host Missouri in an NCAA softball regional in Columbia, Mo. Joseph, who was named to the Missouri Valley Conference all-tournament team, has seven stolen bases in nine attempts this season. She led Bradley in hits (53), runs (28) and stolen bases (13) as a junior.

The freshman from Lake City High has a record of 14-10 with a 3.21 ERA for the Tigers, who are ranked No. 16 and host an NCAA regional in Columbia, Mo., starting today. When Joseph was a senior on Post Falls' state title softball team in 2010, Stangel was a freshman at Lake City.

Ryle, a freshman from St. Maries High, won the 400-meter dash in 51.76 seconds at the Linfield Open on Saturday in McMinnville, Ore.

Bayley, a sophomore from Lakeland High, lowered her second round score by six strokes, including birdies on the first and 12th holes to tie for 16th in the Northwest Conference championship tournament on April 27 at OGA Golf Course in Woodburn, Ore. Bayley shot an 89-83-172.
Nicholas Gosselin

Gosselin, a sophomore from Lake City, used a pair of personal best times to claim two second-place finishes on April 26 at the Northwest Conference championship meet at Baker Stadium on the campus of the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma. He ran the 400-meter dash in 49.42 and the 200 in 22.62.

Kastning, a freshman from Lakeland High, became the first Hillsdale College player in 19 years to hit at least five home runs and doubles in the same season. She finished the season hitting .316 (37 for 117) with 16 runs scored, seven doubles, five triples and five home runs. Hillsdale (21-17) failed to receive a postseason berth in NCAA Division II.

Simpson, a junior from Timberlake High, shot a three-round score of 229 at the Frontier Conference championship at Larchmont Golf Course in Missoula on April 29. Rocky Mountain finished fourth in the eight-team tournament.
