Musicians shine in solo, ensemble festival

Area schools participated in the Western State Solo and Ensemble Festival in Helena May 2-3.
Students were judged on performance concepts such as tone, pitch, rhythm, interpretation, balance and technique and rated as either superior, excellent, good, fair or poor.
