City ponders new SFD chief

SANDPOINT — There could be a new chief in the Sandpoint Fire Department this summer following a council decision Wednesday.

Mayor Carrie Logan is asking council members to approve Ron Stocking as Sandpoint’s new fire chief. If council members approve him for the job, Stocking will start the job June 2.
