The Crosstown Craze party is coming to Kalispell and volunteers are needed to make it a memorable night for high school seniors graduating from Kalispell high schools.

More than 570 students are slated to graduate.

The Crosstown Craze is a chance for graduates of Glacier and Flathead high schools and Linderman Education Center to stay up all night celebrating their accomplishments, eating free food, having fun and winning prizes in a safe and sober environment.

The all-night party will be from 9 p.m. June 7 through 4 a.m. June 8 at The Summit Medical Fitness Center.

About 20 volunteers ages 25 and up still are needed to run games and serve food. Crosstown Craze co-chairman Bill Hendrix said organizers especially need volunteers from midnight to 3 a.m.

Crosstown Craze participants will have access to all health-club amenities in addition to a Best Buy game room, casino room, laser tag, miniature golf, sumo wrestling and jousting, among other activities.

“The goal is to get them [students] in there, keep them safe and hope they have fun,” Hendrix said.

Prizes will be awarded ranging from cash and gift certificates to kayaks and bicycles. A grand prize drawing for a car donated by Eisinger Motors will be held around 3 a.m.

“We’ve had great support from the community and the committee is so thankful,” Hendrix said.

Students still may purchase Crosstown Craze tickets for $30. Hendrix said roughly 150 tickets have been sold.

Hendrix said the Crosstown Craze committee continues to purchase prizes with the goal to have every student go home with a prize. One way to financially support the graduation party is by purchasing a 30-day Summit pass for $30.

Half of the proceeds go toward the Crosstown Craze party.

Passes may be purchased at Insty Prints, Complete Nutrition or Universal Athletic through May 30. People must be 18 or older to purchase a pass. Passes must be redeemed by July 31.
