Man is lost, stuck and rescued

A man called the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office from the Upper Whitefish Lake reporting that his vehicle was stuck and that he was lost. The Two Bear helicopter ended up locating him and the Border Patrol assisted in getting his vehicle unstuck.

A report was made Sunday regarding a man kicking in a door and assaulting a woman at a residence on Bitterroot Estates Drive in the Marion area.

A man calling from Steeles Drive in the Columbia Falls area said he had been assaulted by his wife.

A man reported that his daughter was being threatened by two ex-roommates who were recently kicked out of a home on Klondyke Loop in the Somers area.

A woman calling from Seventh Street West in the Columbia Falls area reported that she was being stalked by her ex-boyfriend, who was also making suicidal threats.

An East Oregon Street resident reported that two teenagers tried to enter his house through a locked front door, and they fled when he confronted them.

Early Monday, at about 1:15 a.m., an intoxicated man claimed that he had been beat up at a bar on River Street in Bigfork.

 

A man called Kalispell Police Saturday to report that his house on 11th Street West was ransacked and items were stolen. The caller suspected an ex-roommate may have done it.

Two women were cited for shoplifting from a store on Hutton Ranch Road.

A woman was cited for shoplifting from a store on U.S. 2 East.

A man calling from Appleway Drive said his wife hit him in the mouth while they were driving.

A woman calling from Sixth Avenue West North said she returned from a trip to find that someone had broken into her house with a crowbar and apparently taken rolls of coins.

There was a report of several men fighting at a location on U.S. 2 West.

There was a report of a power pole being knocked down by a  car on Woodland Park Drive, and the driver drove off.

Early Sunday, at about 2 a.m., a man was arrested for drunk driving after a traffic stop on 14th Street East and Third Avenue East.

There was a report of a home being broken into on East Oregon Street, with some items stolen.

An Eighth Avenue West resident reported that someone attempted to break into her home, but did not gain entry.

After a disturbance involving a man brandishing a knife on First Avenue East North, a teenage boy was apprehended and arrested.

 

Whitefish Police got a call Sunday from a man on Central Avenue who said he met two girls and he suspected they worked together to steal his credit card. His credit card was later located and he was taken to a nearby hotel.
