Senior dates announced for Wahluke

MATTAWA - Principal Jeff Pietila has announced the final dates of significance for the Wahluke High School class of 2014, including graduation.

Graduation will start at 6 p.m. in the gym on Saturday, June 7. The school will not reserve seating. However, if you have an elderly or handicapped person in your party, call the school, and a seat will be held for that person and one other.

"Graduation is a very special time for families and for the school community," Pietila said. "If you have any concerns about any of the events or timelines please contact us.

Other important dates and times are:

May 29-30 - Final Exams for Seniors

June 2 - Senior Trip - The class advisor will provide more information

June 4 - Checkout for Seniors 8-11 a.m. Out of building by 1st lunch

June 5 - Senior Breakfast with Awards Ceremony 8 a.m. Graduation Rehearsal 9:30 a.m.
