Students win state honor scholarships

Students from seven Northwest Montana high schools have won Montana University System Honor Scholarships.
The renewable scholarships from the Montana Board of Regents waive undergraduate tuition for up to eight semesters at any campus of the Montana University System or Dawson, Flathead Valley or Miles community colleges.
The scholarships are each worth around $16,000 for four years of college.
This year 245 scholarships were offered statewide. The scholarships are awarded based on grade-point rankings combined with ACT composite test scores.
Northwest Montana winners of the scholarships include:
Columbia Falls High School: Caleb Baumann, Mason Gedlaman, Brooke Wilson.
Flathead High School: Meghan Clostio, Lander Crissman, Elizabeth Diegel, Kelly Hendrix, Natalie Jeude, Aryn Phillips, Bridger Putnam.
Glacier High School: Ashlee Buller, Elise Byle, Daniel Clark, Sierra Crandell, Jackson Day, Joceline Denton, Breana Franke, Westley Hughes, Dylan Junjak, Kaitlin McHugh.
Libby High School: Cody Barrick, Adam Neisess.
Polson High School: Claire Bick, Lauren Dupuis, Jaylin Kenney, Isak Petersen, Carlton Sisler.
Ronan High School: Tyler Sassaman.
Whitefish High School: Thomas Henson, Rebekah Weaver.
