4 Wahluke golfers continue to improve, shoot personal bests

MATTAWA - The Wahluke High Golf team continued to struggle last week in SCAC competition, but the players continued to improve in contests with Cle Elum and Goldendale.

Three girls and one boy shot their personal best scores. They were Victoria Lampkemeyer, Abby Yorgesen, Audra Coulson and Darian Fabela.

Only the Wahluke girls posted a team score, 502. Goldendale won with 378, and Cle Elum had 410. The Wahluke boys did not have the required four players.

Nick Baker of Cle Elum was the boys medalist with 81. Goldendale's Bree Wanderschied was girls medalist at 70.
