Troy drops pair to Ronan

The Lady Trojans softball team traveled to Ronan (14-4, 15-5) for a Saturday doubleheader to wrap up the regular season.

Troy (2-16, 2-18) had a rough go of it, recording one hit in the first game and two in the second contest. Lady Trojan Kylie Carr recorded her team’s hit in the first game and teammates Brenna Garrison and Caitlin Johnston got the knocks in the second game.

Mountain pleads not guilty to seven Yaak burglary charges

Not guilty, seven times over. That was the plea Monday when Zachary Michael Mountain, 19, was arraigned before District Judge James Wheelis. Mountain faces as many as 140 years in prison for his alleged involvement last year in a string of felony burglaries in the Yaak.
