quarterback Zbydniewski
SPOKANE - The Spokane Shock acquired quarterback Brian Zbydniewski (6-foot-1 215 pounds) in a trade from the Cleveland Gladiators in exchange for future considerations and the ninth position in claim order.
Zbydniewski returns to the Shock after stints with the team in 2006 and as part of the 2010 ArenaBowl XXIII championship team.
He has played with Tampa Bay, New Orleans and Cleveland since leaving Spokane. As the starter for Tampa Bay for 11 games in 2011, Zbydniewski completed 62.3 percent of his pass attempts for 2,825 yards and 56 touchdowns with a passer rating of 108.95.
To make room on the roster, wide receiver Adron Tennell was placed on injured reserve and quarterback Jarrett Brown was placed on reassignment.
