Update: Suspect left suspicious device at ISP headquarters

Police are investigating a suspicious device that was left inside the Idaho State Police headquarters in the 600 block of Wilbur Avenue in Coeur d'Alene. 

Citizens are asked to avoid the area and take alternate routes.

Wilbur Avenue is closed at U.S. 95 to Wheatfield Drive. Mineral Drive is closed north of Wilbur.

All parking lots into immediate area retail establishments are also closed.

The ISP Headquarters building has been evacuated.

The Spokane Bomb Squad has been dispatched to assess and dispose of the device.More information will be provided as it becomes available.
