Of course I know you know who they are. 1968 Was Kim Hilderbrand's Class. Now Kim Green. You might give her a newspaper thanks sometime.

Bob, you are correct, the entire Columbia Basin is indebted to photographer Bill Hilderbrand for recording our history and to Kim Hilderbrand Green for donating her father's images to the Moses Lake Museum & Art Center.

I envision the museum filled with Hilderbrand photos as part of a show displaying his work. Better yet, imagine this: The museum could devote a special spot in the museum to display his photos, let's say 50 or 100 at a time. Every six months or so, the photos on display would change, bringing more Hilderbrand photos forward for viewing. Viewing the entire collection this way would take years. Yes there are thousands of Hilderbrand photos.

From Barry Moos on May 2: The photo in the 5/2/14 CBH was the ASB officers of the 67-68 school year. Pictured in the front-Larry Vehrs (Treasurer). Back row from left to right are Coke Roth (VP), Cyndie Schuh (Sec), Debbie Hutchinson (adv.mgr), Mary Long (bus.mgr.) and Mark Potampa ( pres). I hope this helps.

From Diana Blanchard Giannoulas on May 2: Hello Dennis, The names you need starting from the left are: Coke Roth, Cynthia Schuh, Cynthia Wyckoff, Mark Potampa, with Larry Vehrs and Mary Strong in the foreground. I just happen to be in town. My Dad asked if I knew any of these people. They were all good friends of mine and therefore I passed Dad's "test"!

In the April 4 edition of this column was a photo of an obvious performance of some sort. The cutline stated: This BBCC 1970 drama was staged in the open air of ..., well where was the stage. It appears to be south of O'Sullivan Dam. Question: What was the location? What was the title of the drama and who were the actors?

From Sylvia Holben Allen on April 9: My mother, Betty Holben, told me that you were interested in information about the play that Big Bend Community College put on in the Potholes area in 1970. I was the lead female in the play which was The Bacchus, a Greek tragedy. The director was a professor from CWU and his assistant was Linda Ballet from Moses Lake. I believe that John Hertzog was the male lead.

Dennis note: Sylvia called before she sent the above e-mail. She was surprised a photo of the one-time drama surfaced after 44 years. Sylvia could not tell me the exact location, but play was staged somewhere below O'Sullivan Dam.

I asked if the actors or the audience encountered any rattlesnakes. She said they didn't even think about snake, plus they were all wearing sandals or flip-flops of some sort.

Sylvia was able to find herself in the photo, seated on a rock in the background.
