BOISE - The Coeur d'Alene Sting under-16 boys soccer team won Monday's title game at the Idaho State Cup at the Simplot Sports Complex, beating Meridian United 4-0 at the Idaho State Cup at the Simplot Sports Complex.

The U16 boys team advances to the Far West Regionals in late June in New Mexico.

The Sting U-13 girls (who lost 4-2 to FC Nova Pink) and U14 girls (who lost 3-2 to FC Nova) also qualified for regionals due to extra wild-card berths in that age division.

Other teams in championship games included the U16 girls (lost 2-0 to BNSC Italia) and U17 boys (lost to Boise Nationals Milan 3-0). All move on to regionals by reaching the title game.
