Bob Marshall Wilderness trail, weeds and citizen science projects
Hungry Horse News | Hagadone News Network | UPDATED 10 years, 10 months AGO
The Bob Marshall Wilderness Foundation will host a number of trail, weeds and citizen science projects in the wilderness as part of its “50 miles for 50 years” campaign.
This summer’s projects include maintaining 150 miles of trail across the Great Bear, Bob Marshall and Scapegoat wilderness areas.
Each volunteer who participates in a project will receive a Wilderness 50 commemorative gift.
The nonprofit group has coordinated volunteer work projects in the wilderness for more than 18 years.
Each summer, about 400 volunteers from around the U.S. sign on to a wilderness adventure while giving back to The Bob’s trails, open spaces and treasured landscapes.
