Ruth Arlene (Rettig) Willford, 85, of Coeur d' Alene, Idaho, went to be with her Lord on Friday, May 23, 2014.
Born on September 23, 1928, to Carl and Mabel Rettig, Arlene grew up on the family farm and graduated from Holgate High School.
Arlene married Robert Willford on January 21, 1957. The two moved their family to Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, in 1967.
In addition to raising five children, Arlene worked as an office manager for Crollard Ford Sales for more than a decade. She made countless friends before she retired to run a storage business with her husband out of their home.
Arlene was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; parents, Carl and Mabel; and brother, Glenn Rettig.
Arlene is survived by her children: Ruth, Roberta (Remington), Alan, Jacqueline (Wood), and Lynnette (Miller); eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren; who will all deeply miss her warm smile and gentle, loving heart.
The service for Arlene will be held at 2 p.m., on Sunday, June 1, at Faith Presbyterian Church, 9485 Maple, Hayden, Idaho.
