SCHAWANA - The Grant County Sheriff's office is asking citizens to help identify two men suspected of a robbery at The Outpost mini mart and gas station in Schawana the night of Oct. 21 at about 7 p.m.

Two images taken from a surveillance video camera at the gas station show the robbery in progress. Faces are difficult to see, but the clothing is fairly clear.

The first male suspect is described as being Hispanic, between 5-10 and 6-2 wearing a black ski mask, a blue coat with white sleeves with an unknown logo on the back.

He was wearing dark jeans with grey or brown shoes with white laces (skater type shoes). He was reportedly brandishing a pistol and was demanding money in Spanish.

The second male suspect is also described as being Hispanic, shorter at 5-6 to 5-8, wearing a striped long sleeve dark shirt, black pants and possibly black boots brandishing an AK-47 type assault rifle as he stood at the doorway.

According to deputies, the subjects left the scene in an unknown type dark passenger car northbound on Highway 243.

The robbery is still under investigation. Anyone with information about the suspects and/or their whereabouts is asked to contact Deputy Corey Linscott at 509-760-3410 or Deputy Fisher at 509-750-2746.
