POST FALLS - Idaho State Police officers are seeking information on a road rage incident in which two vehicles were damaged on westbound Interstate 90 in Post Falls on Thursday morning.
According to ISP, the incident involving a silver 2002 Dodge Stratus and blue 2010 Chrysler 300 occurred around 6:15 a.m. on a three-mile stretch between the Seltice Way overpass and McGuire Road.
"Both male drivers said their vehicles came into contact multiple times," said ISP Trooper Andy Hodl. "It was a back-and-forth altercation."
Hodl said the drivers have given conflicting reports about other details regarding the incident.
"We're looking for witnesses to confirm or deny who was the aggressor," he said.
Neither of the drivers were injured. Both vehicles sustained heavy damage, but were drivable afterward.
Hodl declined to say where the drivers are from, citing the ongoing investigation.
He said one of the drivers contacted ISP afterward and the other said he planned to, but police contacted him first.
Hodl said one of the vehicles was reportedly forced off the freeway, but he declined to say which vehicle it was.
Those who witnessed the incident are encouraged to contact Hodl at 209-8620.
