SANDPOINT —While the Sandpoint City Council relaxed its stance on the summer lake level, the city still wants to see Lake Pend Oreille stay at the higher level as long as possible.
The council approved the revised resolution at its Wednesday meeting.
Introduced by Councilwoman Shannon Williamson, the tweaks to the resolution introduce language changes designed to make the city’s position somewhat more realistic and conscious of other factors affected by lake level. Council members unanimously passed the modifications.
