'Drawing and Painting' gallery at NIC

COEUR d'ALENE - Three prominent Spokane artists will display their artwork in the "Drawing and Painting" exhibit in the Boswell Hall Corner Gallery at North Idaho College from Nov. 10 to Feb. 6.

Wendy Franklund Miller, Karen Lohrke Kaiser and Melissa Lang will host a gallery walk of their work at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday followed by a panel conversation at 1 p.m. and the opening reception from 5-7 p.m. in the gallery. This exhibit is underwritten by the Citizens Council for Arts (Art on the Green) and NIC.

"These three women live the life of an artist, because through it all they thrive and survive from experiences connected to the ups and downs," said Allie Vogt, NIC Boswell Hall Corner Gallery coordinator. "They're exemplary because they always pay attention to the visual elements, practice their skill, nurture their ideas - and they love to work."

The Corner Gallery is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. Admission to the gallery is free.
