<p>Marvin Bjorge, right, and friend help World War II veteran Orville Bjorge, 91, of Hot Springs, stand while the audience members give the veterans a standing ovation at Linderman Elementary School’s salute to vets Nov. 11. Bjorge was an Army private when he was wounded in Italy. He was transported out of the mountains on a cable tram built by the Corps of Engineers. His ordeal was retold in a book called “The Last Ridge.” Orville is Marvin’s uncle.</p><p></p>
