Caroline Leland, 76, passed away peacefully at Brendan House on Nov. 11, 2014, with family at her side.

Caroline Ann (Doggett) Leland was born May 13, 1938, to parents John Marvin and Mary Katherine Doggett in Townsend. 

She married Robert Theodore Leland on Oct. 27, 1956, in Townsend. In 1963 Bob and Caroline, along with three of their children, Marvin Ray, Melvin Leroy and Shirley Kay, moved to Kalispell. Mark Theodore was born in Kalispell. 

Caroline worked very hard at being a full-time, stay-at-home mother and wife. She was a very loving mother and friend. 

Caroline was preceded by her parents, husband Bob, son Marvin, her in-laws, and brother Raymond Doggett. 

She is survived by her children, Melvin, Shirley and Mark; sisters, Roxy Whitney, Marlene and Dale Merrill, Donna Nash, and Rosie and Dwayne Pennington; as well as grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Caroline will be sadly missed by all who knew her. 

There will be a viewing from noon to 5 p.m. today, Nov. 13, at Johnson-Gloschat Funeral Home. The funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Nov. 14, at Johnson-Gloschat Funeral Home.
