Local firefighters' drive delivers assistance to food bank

SANDPOINT — The onset of winter and the holiday season means more pressure than ever for struggling local families.

Fortunately, it also means the community is mobilizing to help members out during some tight times. From local firefighters to the Bonner Community Food Center, many locals are stepping up to boost fellow residents during tough times. Sandpoint Fire Department did just that Saturday with a food drive at Super 1 Foods.
