Calling all actors – young or not young.

Bigfork Playhouse Children’s Theatre is one of the first in the country to produce “A Chrismas Story,” the  classic story based on the Jean Sheppard movie. The Bigfork Playhouse Children’s Theater invites students grade three through 12 and adults to audition for Bigfork’s holiday production.

This classic holiday tale centers on a boy, Ralphie, who dreams of getting a BB gun for Christmas. Auditions for A Christmas Story will be held at the Bigfork Playhouse Children’s Theatre Afterschool Arts Center on Nov. 18 from 4:30 – 5:30 p.m. for grades 3 and 4, from 5:30 – 7 p.m. for grades 5 – 7 and from 7 – 8:30 p.m. for grade eight through adult.

Performers should prepare a 30-second monologue or selection from another play or book, and plan to learn and sing something at the audition. Performances are Dec. 12-14, Dec. 19-20.
