Sunday

10:40 a.m.: Damages of about $100 were reportedly done to the console of a vehicle parked in a business lot in the 26400 block of West Highway 53 in Hauser Lake. A suitcase and stereo equipment valued at about $1,200 were reported stolen from the vehicle.

The Idaho Board of Environmental Quality will meet Nov. 19 and 20 at the Idaho Department of Environmental Quality, State Office Conference Center, 1410 N. Hilton, Boise. Both sessions start at 9 a.m.

Among the items on the board's agenda at the Nov. 19 session are pending rules to update DEQ mixing zone policy, clarify fugitive dust rules for agricultural activities, include various changes in Idaho air pollution control rules in the State Implementation Plan, and incorporate federal regulations into state air pollution control and hazardous waste rules. The Board will also consider a temporary/pending rule to revise the definition of restricted hazardous waste in a section of Idaho Code.

A report will also be presented on negotiated rulemaking underway to establish human health criteria for toxic pollutants, followed by an update on progress toward implementing an Idaho Pollutant Discharge Elimination System Program.

The Nov. 20 session will begin at 9 a.m. The Board will hear oral argument on a contested case relating to the Magnolia Nitrogen Idaho, LLC air quality permit.
