Florence Hill, 96, passed away in her sleep at her home in Post Falls, Idaho, on Nov. 13, 2014, and was born on Nov. 5, 1918, in the Spokane Valley.

She graduated from West Valley High School and is survived by her husband of 43 years, Kenneth Hill; six children Pam Litzenberg, Vickie Stevens, Raymond Hill, Bill Hill, Dale Hill and Mike Hill; seven grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Larry Heath; sister Evelyn and granddaughter Melissa.

Florence enjoyed crocheting and quilting and was a member of the Mother's Club Quilting and House of Faith Church in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. The family wishes to give a special thanks to River City Hospice and Comfort Keepers House Cleaning.

A visitation will be held from 3-6 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 20, 2014, and from 9-10:30 a.m. Friday, Nov. 21, 2014, at Hazen & Jaeger Funeral Home, 1306 N. Monroe St., Spokane, followed by funeral services at 11 a.m. in the funeral home's Alwin Chapel with Pastor Willie Prawitz officiating. Burial will follow at Riverside Memorial Park in Spokane.
