Whitefish players named to soccer All-State

Five Whitefish soccer players have been selected for the Class A All-State team.

Senior Grace Kurtz and sophomore Haley Nicholson earned the honors for the girls team, and seniors Taven Edland, Shanoah Montano, and Jared Johnson earned the honors for the boys.

The Lady Bulldogs had seven players selected for All-Conference, including Kurtz, Nicholson, senior Jess Baldonado, sophomores Katie Blankenship, Julia Houston, Melissa Pollard and freshman Lexie Carbo.

Six players for the boys team earned All-Conference, including seniors Edland, Montano, Johnson and Scott Marsh, and juniors Walter Sobba and Casey Ling.

Both the boys and girls teams reached the State A semifinals.
